Imagine Martin is Going Hog Wild! 

The project, “Going Hog Wild in Martin County,” showcases the county’s charm and community spirit through an artistic and interactive display of over 100 concrete hog statues. Each statue is uniquely painted by 25 local artists and represents various local businesses and organizations, celebrating the county's significant pork industry.

Key Elements:

  • Concrete Hog Statues: 101 statues positioned throughout Martin County.
  • Local Artists: 25 artists were commissioned to paint and personalize each statue.
  • Community Participation: Over 100 local businesses and organizations were involved in the project.
  • Funding Support: Grants from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, the Martin County Area Foundation, and the Schmeeckle Foundation made the project possible.
